Teenage humans that were dragons aged slowly, so 50 years was basically 16, yet the main character and her incredibly predictable brother, both constanly complained about only being 16, but weren't they 50? Never really understood that part. There were some things I never understood completely. There was a lot with her that just bothered me. During her first training she didn't understand why the 'evil' lady made her carry things fast, it took her far too long to understand, and in the maze, she didn't even think about jumping up on the crates until hours had gone by. She was a spoiled brat that didn't understand the easiest things. There was nothing likeable about her for me.
